This small self portrait was painted, in oils, on a piece of museum-board during a night of despair in my Moody Street Studio, Waltham, MA. On this particular night I was out of my Xanax prescription and was extremely depressed - due to my upcoming divorce. While crying, I painted this self portrait - it helped me make it through another terrific night. . .
