Description: This is the first in a series of charcoal drawings on The Elements using a horse skull found in the woods of Maine with Jeff Elgin . . . From the remains of the horse's skeleton it appears the horse was trapped in a fire and shot in the forehead. Other drawings in the series are Air (smoke), Earth (ashes), and Water (rain).
